Memorandum between Sakpatenti and the Art Palace of Georgia

In order to highlight the importance of protecting intellectual property and cultural heritage and to support the creative potential of society, a Memorandum of Cooperation was concluded between the National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia (Sakpatenti) and the Art Palace of Georgia - Museum of cultural  history.  The document was signed by Soso Giorgadze, Chairman of Sakpatenti, and George Kalandia, General Director of the Art Palace of Georgia.

Within the framework of the memorandum, cooperation between the parties will include the implementation of joint projects of mutual interest, aimed at supporting research and protection in the fields of both intellectual property and cultural heritage.

The memorandum provides for the organization of joint educational and awareness-raising activities, including conferences, trainings, seminars, and exhibition projects. Various initiatives and activities are also planned for target groups to better demonstrate the importance and role of these fields in the country’s economic, social, and cultural development. In addition, to achieve the objectives set out in the memorandum, informational and educational printed materials will be produced by Sakpatenti, and their distribution will be ensured by both signatory parties.

Active cooperation between Sakpatenti and the Art Palace in the field of intellectual property and cultural heritage protection will contribute to the promotion of their activities. This joint effort will enhance public awareness, create new opportunities for creativity, and strengthen the country’s cultural and innovative potential.
