A unique sketch of Petre Otskheli

On March 31, the Art Palace of Georgia  – Museum of Cultural History received a unique, previously unknown sketch of a puppet theater by Petre Otskheli, one of the most important representatives of Georgian avant-garde art, as a gift. It is the first version of Tejiri, his first work in the puppet theater.

 

This work by Petre Otskheli was presented to the art palace by the Union of Professional State Puppet Theaters of Georgia. Special thanks go to the representatives of the above-mentioned theater, the friends of the museum, Nikoloz Sabashvili, Konstantine Karkashadze, and Neron Abuladze.
