
Merab Kokochashvili 90!
With the support of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia, the Art Palace – Museum of Cultural History invites you to an exhibition dedicated to the 90th birthday of Merab Kokochashvili on March 21 at 6:00 p.m. At the same time, the director's handprint will be unveiled in the Arch of Immortals.
Merab Kokochashvili, one of the foremost figures in Georgian cinema of the 1960s and author of the film “The Big Green Field” (1964), considered a masterpiece of national film classics, turns 90. The exhibition at the art palace features photographic materials documenting the director's work, as well as film posters, sketches, family photos, and scripts. The photographic materials and scripts presented at the exhibition showcase the director's multifaceted work, his virtuoso skills as a film director, and his professional career.
