The Magical Story of Dolls

On May 18 at 7:00 PM, the Art Palace will host a truly unique and unprecedented exhibition titled “The Magical Story of Dolls” for the very first time. 

The exhibition will feature 60 handmade and one-of-a-kind dolls. Each doll has its own character and unique story—some of them even move and sing!

As part of the exhibition, 29 doll artists will participate: Lia Kakulia, Lela Lazariashvili, Ludmila Ryazatseva, Nino Chikviladze, Mako Gnolidze, Mari Abuseridze, Nata Inashvili, Borena Eloshvili, Marina Lagvilava, Denis Gonobolini, Irina Seminonova, Nana Chokuri, Khatuna Ninidze, Irma Kuprava, Irma Frangishvili, Nana Qaulashvili, Tea Mindadze, Tea Ramishvili, Eliso Gelashvili, Ekaterine Beridze, Yulia Sorokina, Medea Khabadze, Viktoria Jugheli, Lali Kerdikoshvili, Sofia Chkhikvadze, Goga Begiashvili, Ana Talakvadze, Nino Jolbordi, and Oksana Salnikova.


In celebration of International Museum Day on May 18, the Art Palace will be open free of charge from 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM, giving all visitors the opportunity to explore the magical world of Georgian dolls at no cost.

Starting May 19, the museum will launch a special educational program dedicated to dolls. Give your children a true celebration—don’t miss the chance to take part in educational activities, explore a fairy-tale exhibition, and create magical toys with your own hands. Come and discover the unforgettable creativity of the doll artists.
